Procurement & Contract Management is responsible for coordinating the procurement of goods and services and administrating agreements for all University faculties, departments and research initiatives.

Procurement & Contract Management ensures that procurement activity complies with the Supply of Goods and Services Policy and is conducted in a fair, transparent and non-discriminatory process that provides the greatest benefit to the University and is in compliance with University policy, competitive bidding laws and trade agreements.

Competitive Bidding Requirements

A fair and transparent competitive bidding process is the cornerstone of the acquisition process at the University of Alberta.
